He is often seen on Sky News, BBC World News, CNN International and Al Jazeera English where he has talked about wide ranging physics research stories including missions to Mars, supposed faster than light neutrinos, the Higgs boson, SETI, the debate over leap seconds vs atomic time, nuclear power and more.

Martin has featured in both series of the BBC television series James May’s Things You Need to Know which has lead him to be a regular writer and presenter for its spin off YouTube Channel Head Squeeze.
