Radio, Podcast & Voiceover
I have over 20 years of experience in radio presenting having worked for Kiss FM and Channel HMV instore radio, as well as producing several science podcast series. I am also a voiceover artist behind numerous national campaigns for Nintendo and BBC.
Starting out in hospital and later student radio, in 2006 I earned nominations for Best Male Presenter and Best Entertainment Programme at the BBC Radio 1 Student Radio Awards. Spurred on by this recognition I worked hard to master production and creative radio, programming and voicing Channel HMV instore radio. This led to being spotted by Kiss FM where I was signed up to present early breakfast nationally. Over my 6 years with Kiss, I delivered excellent listening figures and gained the position of one of the stations leading presenters, hosting the evening show and being main cover for Breakfast and other daytime shows.
Transitioning into science broadcasting, I have been involved in segments for BBC Radio 4 and World Service, syndicated across stations around the world. I wrote, produced and co-presented the Droppin’ Science podcast, highlighted on iTunes, and recently co-hosted a global podcast series for The Conversation marking the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landings ‘To the Moon and Beyond’.
I have also been heard voicing national ad campaigns for Nintendo across their 3DS and WiiU ranges as well as doing voiceovers for BBC series trailers.
